If it weren't for Dubya...

I wouldn't have paid as close attention to politics;

I wouldn't have found Democratic Underground; &

I wouldn't be aware of how despicable Republicans are underneath their cloaks of "Christianity", "patriotism", & "family values".

Disasters have a way to awaken those who seem to love their country the most. We wanted to know HOW the Dubya disaster could have happened; we wanted it remedied; & we wanted it GONE from our lives.

We won't allow it to EVER happen again. We're informed & we're vigilant.

I always voted for Dem candidates, but I didn't pay much attention to politics until Dubya came along.

I didn't know a thing about Bill Clinton, but I knew the Bush Family was pure evil.

The first and (unfortunately) only time I have ever voted.

Once time is served, a person's voting rights should be restored.

I even thought Dubya would be ineffective and didn't care much about what happened in 2000. What happened in 2001 is what turned me into the obsessive wonk I am today and I went back and learned why what happened in 2000 was not only wrong, but criminally wrong.

to use the computer when Clinton was going through the Republicans' impeachment circus show (I was HOPPING MAD), but when SCOTUS handed the presidency to such an obvious (but politically-connected) flake, I was totally on board with paying close attention.
