Romney's Last Path to 270 Electoral Votes

Romney officials tell National Review that the campaign "is focused on two key states as Election Day nears: Ohio and Pennsylvania. They believe that they are competitive in Ohio, but should it drift away, they're looking at Pennsylvania and its 20 electoral votes as a possible substitute for the Buckeye State."

Said a Romney adviser: "We have got to win one of those two states and do well everywhere else. We're still pushing in Ohio, but it's unpredictable. Pennsylvania, however, is really in play."

The courts blocked it this year, but the demographics for the Repukes mean that they will try to bury the country under an avalanche of voter suppression tactics in the coming years.

Either the Repukes are going to come down from the "crazy tree" and realize that they need more than old angry southern white males and billionaires to win, or they are, as Gingrich famously said, "going to wither on the vine".

They are going to try everything. The Supreme Court just agreed to hear arguments that will invalidate some of the provisions of the Civil Rights Act, and I think we all know how the Robert's Court will rule in that case.

There is going to be a lot to do in President Obama's 2ND term, but one of the most important is going to be ensuring the basic right of franchise is protected for all Americans....AND THIS IS NOT A FIGHT THE PRESIDENT SHOULD FIGHT ALONE.

Everyone who cares about protecting our Democracy is going to need to take to the street to protect this right!

Obama wins both. Obama has a far better chance at winning Florida than Romney does PA. If Obama gets over the hump in Florida even if some miracle happens where Rmoney is able to substitute Ohio with PA it wont matter. Then the Romney campaign will regret wasting their time there. When they could've been in the sunshine State instead.

but with Florida he lose PA,OH, and VA still have very realistic path to 270.He would just have to hold the rest of the mid-west were he winning, and NH +NV= 272 or without NH he could get a combination of NV+CO getting him to 277.
