So, does Rmoney slither off the national stage tomorrow after his concession speech?

Never to be heard from again? Or do we still have to endure his lying smug face after he gets his ass kicked?

And what of the Boy Wonder, Paul Ryan? Can we be done with him too?

I knew that John McCain would have a graceful and sincere concession speech, in the end he loves his country.

Mitt? He only loves himself. I do not expect a very gracious speech from him tomorrow. I expect him to pay a couple of back handed complements to Obama, but then to basically talk about how great he himslef is and that the fight has just begun, big governemnt etc etc.

In one scenario (the one I prefer), Mittens is riding up and down in his car elevator, despondently drinking lemonade and mumbling to himself about how the little people of America are too stupid to appreciate his awesome expertise at business, and how is he going to fulfill the White Horse prophecy and get his free ticket to Kolob now?

Alternatively, he'll be as oblivious to his ass-whuppin' as he is to everything else, and he'll blame it all on the liberal media and the polls and the stupid little people, the takers who weren't going to vote for him anyhow because they haven't learned how to be responsible for their lives. He won't run for President again but will form another rich-guy think-tank from which he can dispense his great wisdom regarding how to make a lot of money by screwing almost everybody.

There will be lots of Republican recriminations about the election, with most of them thinking that they didn't run a conservative enough candidate. They're wrong, of course--they just haven't realized how serious their schism is yet. It won't be long before you hear Republicans start to talk about how they never liked/trusted/wanted Romney anyway.

Paul Ryan will be put forth by one faction as the GOP's heir apparent. I think he'll have competition from Jeb Bush and Marco Rubio.

Romney will be finished, for all intents and purposes, but it won't be so easy to make Paul Ryan go away.

this snake of a man. He is totally lacking in any redeeming qualities.

It amazes me that the GOP ever let him get this far. Of course, their choices are quite limited.

I suspect we can look to them running Jeb in 2016.

Jeb vs. Hillary or Biden. Could be interesting.

Prediction: Romney will make the most self-important whining speech ever heard. He will take no responsibility for his loss.

edit: Added prediction.

Paul Ryan will either go to work for a GOP think tank, the Family Research Council, or he'll become a lobbyist. I won't waste another minute of my life thinking about either of them.

Romney had no political aspirations other than being President. I really don't think he really has any strong principles that he will put his energy into.

Ryan on the other hand will be back.

I am hoping with all my energy that Paulie is forever tainted by this campaign and couldn't run for Dog Catcher and win. I don't think for a minute he will fade into obscurity.....OH, if only! But he will write a book and most likely end up being a lobbyist sooner or later. Anyone got any clues to how he is doing with his House Seat? I heard there were rumors afoot that he should resign that seat and let the Republican Party figure out what to do with their Numbers Whiz Kid.
