Dallas County: 477,288 ----> 415,743
Tarrant County 431,799----->387,350
Collin County (my county, very heavy repuke) 211,637-->213,447
Denton County 166,297---->163,082
The local repuke rag is, of course, pointing to my county (repukeville) saying LOOK, LOOK, a bigger turnout than 2008, republicans are "showing enthusiasm". Um, ok, somehow an extra 1,810 early voters in our huge ass county doesn't seem worthy of the phrase "showing enthusiasm". Hell, for all they know, those extra voters may be Dems or Independents!
I would like to think that not-very-enthused repukes are just sitting this one out in Texas..

(9,974 posts)I think the article I read and got the numbers from only listed the counties around here in North Texas...but, yeah, it would have been nice if they had included Harris and Travis so we could have a better idea of across-the-state stats

(759 posts)I've been seeing many Sadler signs right alongside Rmoney/R'lyin signs... very odd... Repugs have nothing to be excited about... (I guess they can't bring themselves to vote for teabagger-Ted Cruz /son of a Cuban immigrant)
