3. I want to know what is going on in Mexico Profundo.

It has more of a "journalistic" feel than the other pics, but I wondered what was going on there...is it Day of the Dead business or a lament about murder? Or something else?

The red stands are mannequins, and there are pictures all over of victims of violence (not just narco violence). The orange flowers are cempazuchitl, or marigolds, the flor de la muertos in Mecixan day of the dead celebrations. This is one of the most unique ofrendas, or altars, paying homage to the deceased, and I just happened upon it in Queretaro. I was there for a conference on the history of the bicentennial of Mexican Independence/ centennial of the revolution.
