...there's only a limited number of recourses the court can provide. Order him to comply, sure. Order him again if he refuses, sure. Chuck his ass into jail if he proceeds with suppressing the vote, definitely. But the courts can't do much to undo an election once the polls are closed -- and any attempt to do so would undoubtedly wind up at the SCOTUS, with, likely, the same results as 2000. And, as to criminal penalties, can there be any doubt that a President Romney would quickly issue pardons to anyone who enabled his election?
