Fox & Benghazi: Treason in the Name of Politics?

The digging by Fox on Benghazi has reached dangerous levels as they disclose details best left to a committee or those with classified status. In their uncompromising zeal to politicize our loss of life, they may be digging themselves deeper into a hole. Some on the right are even beginning to say it is a set-up on Fox as they discuss armed drones, CIA operations and other info to bolster their case while giving away information to our enemies.

Funny how Fox waves the flag around everything, but in an attempt to find anything to use on Obama before Tuesday, they are willing to sacrifice our secrets. Sad.

From a Freeper comment which is telling:

"Fox News was told there were not only armed drones that monitor Libyan chemical weapon sites in the area, but also F-18's, AC-130 aircraft and even helicopters that could have been dispatched in a timely fashion".

Damn. As much as we need to have the incompetence of this administration revealed, there is no valid reason to disclose specifics about our capabilities and their purpose ...as it only further aids and abets the enemy. This info feels like a set up against Fox, which by reporting it ...took the bait.

1. Is Fox suggesting someone should have called in an airstrike on the Ambassador's own position?

That part of the meme is just plain crazy and stupid. Disagree, however, that the broader questions about what Stevens was doing in Benghazi (allegedly coordinating Libyan Jihadists and arms to Syria) should be kept behind closed doors and classified - that's a policy issue that does need to be widely discussed and investigated.

Yet the FOX news viewers are criticizing the prez for not shooting into the crowd indiscriminately.
