Yes, climate change is a problem to be dealt with, can we also take about our infastucture?

We live a new reality. Big cities now lie in zones that are increasingly suceptible to larger storms. Can we, on the national level, finally embrace the need to revamp, modernize and make safer our infastructure?

A major works product would feed at least 3 birds with one seed. It could create millions of jobs, increase our energy eficiency (whic would reduce our greenhouse gases), and protect our cities and our people.

It is time to build the infastructure of the US for the 21st century.

guess what? Congress won't let him. All part of their plan to make sure he's a one-termer.

So long as they keep sending extreme wing-nuts to congress I don't think the blue states will get anything.

I wish the blue states could join together, and work together to move ahead and solve our problems. Maybe the red staters would notice our progress and get interested in finding out how we did it?

And we would need to figure out how to counter the propaganda of the corporate owned media...find some way to get the word out about what we had tried that worked.
