When Republicans put their constituents ahead of "I hope he fails"

You see the way Christie and Obama are working together to do the work of governing.

To a lesser extent with Obama and McDonnell.

This is what COULD have happened for the past four years if the GOP didn't focus on depriving Obama of political "wins" and instead focused on doing what is right.

If the GOP Congress behaved like Christie has the past three days, then think of what could have been accomplished!

A real jobs plan could have been passed. A health care plan that all Americans could get behind. Real deficit reduction without putting it on the backs of the middle class.

Obama has shown what could have happened had the GOP accepted his extended hand the past four years the way Christie has.

This storm showed America that government can work, and that people with different political points of view can work together.

were Republicans and they desperately have been seeking to manufacture a Democratic equivalent that they just can't let it go. Of course this is in addition to their racial hatred, class hatred, and many other hatreds. Also add to their frustration that their trickle down ideology has been an utter failure and you see that they just can't give in an inch without undermining and bringing down the entire rotten structure of the modern Republican party down on their heads.
