2011 Study: Most Political Pundits Less Accurate than a Coin Toss

Last edited Tue Oct 30, 2012, 07:30 PM - Edit history (2)

We should remind ourselves of this every time the likes of Wolf Blitzer and Chuck Todd gives us their predictions and analysis. A study done in 2011 found that almost all prominent political analysts were correct less often than pure chance. So you would literally be better off flipping a quarter to get a prediction about who is going to win the presidential election next week than if you asked David Gregory for his opinion. Yes, a small piece of metal will give you better political commentary than CNN.
