Honestly, I don't care what Christie's motivation is for praising the POTUS. Maybe it is self serving.

All I care about is how he is recognizing the importance of the federal government in helping people in a disaster. And welcoming its help.

What kind of reception would Democrats give him? I can't say I would be all that thrilled to welcome him to our ranks. But, I would at least try to figure out why.
