Did Governor Cuoma just kinda, sorta elude to global warming?

Governor Cuomo just said that anyone who has seen the extreme weather events in the past few years couldn't say "they didn't see it coming" and we need to rethink how to change our infrastructure to avoid this in the future.

Well, good for you Governor but when are politicians going to quit pussy footing around the obvious?!
As my wonderful Mum was fond of saying " It's time to talk about the Elephant in the room"

I understand how you could interpret it that way. It's unfortunate that there's no way to read the tone in which someone writes something. I guarantee others will come along to correct the spelling, but fortunately you can edit your post to correct the spelling of Cuomo's name, and this whole side issue will disappear.

As to your point, I am very happy that a Republican governor has chosen to address this issue, even indirectly. I deeply hope this event is a catalyst to acknowledge the economic and social consequences of climate change and the need for drastic action.
