3. I hope it is building/structure damage only

The memorabilia is irreplaceable.

4. Poo. In the end it's no big loss.

Even if the memorabilia is damaged, so what? It's a shrine to egos and music and... oh, yeah, egos. But PEOPLE are in trouble. They've lost their homes, businesses, pets, jobs, precious belongings... Next to that, the silly Hall Of Fame is a trinket.

9. Fats could make that piano speak.

Now it has been silenced.

I love Fats. He is one of my favorites.

13. It could have been much worse...

At least we still have Fats.

If memory serves correct, he was missing and feared dead for a bit.

12. The gods are voicing their displeasure at the lack of Geddyage.

There was unrest at the Hall of Fame
And the creatures all had fled.

14. I don't want to put a date on myself BUT

I saw Rush in concert playing their 2112 album, when they weren't even the headliner. They were the opening act for Blue Oyster Cult.

16. That would have been in 1976. I first saw them three years later than you. Funny thing. Later the

same year, 1976, on the "All the Worlds A Stage" tour, Blue Oyster Cult was opening for them and opened for them numerous times after that.

You're old, like me.

11. The RARHOF

was destroyed when they inducted ABBA.
No YES, No Moody Blues, No Rush, No Tull.
But ABBA.
Sad really.

They were huge in Europe.

19. Record sales

schmecord sales. They are NOT Rock and Roll.
Why not put in the cast album to My Fair Lady if records sales is the standard.
How about Johnny Mathis or Bing Crosby.
It is a sham.

20. Agreed. They were POP music and if I'm not mistaken

there is a POP music hall of fame being built.

The people running the RARHOF have their head up their ass. There are so many acts that should be in there that aren't and so many that are and don't belong.
