(52 posts)and I agree with the democrat's policies and positions on almost every issue, although I do find posts like this creepy in the sense of some sort of cult worshiping of the man instead of the ideals he is espousing.

(32,723 posts)There were LOTS of Democrats in the Kennedy years that had his picture up in their house and the women wanted to BE Jackie to the point where they dressed like her, did their hair like her and enrolment in French classes was through the roof. Those pillbox hats were all the rage. People even bought sail boats.

(28,938 posts)Many of us who are attracted to men find him, um, "attractive",
and, no, that doesn't diminish his other good qualities.

(43,053 posts)The last three Democratic presidents have come from very humble origins and yet were able to reach the highest office in the land. If that doesn't inspire you and make you want to cheer for them, you might not have a pulse.

(1,593 posts)compare his handling of the Hurricane Sandy situation as compared to Bush's handling of Katrina. Obama suspends his campaign, returns to the White House, calls the governors of all the affected states individually, asks them if they have everything they need, reassures them that he and the federal government will be there for them and asks them to call him directly if a need arise.
On the other hand Romney says emergency relief spending is immoral and the Federal Emergency Management Agency should be privatized (as in "for profit" .
IMHO anyone voting Republican in these states impacted by Sandy must be out of their f*****g minds.

He is exactly where he needs to be. Being as preemptive as he can be. The Federal relief is already flooding in.
