2. Choked me up. Picture after picture of Americans!

Americans lining up to participate in our democracy despite efforts to limit that right. But of course, voting always kinda chokes me up!

4. Made me cry

And reminded me SO MUCH of the lines to vote in South Africa after Apartheid finally ended and EVERYONE regardless of race could vote.

That was my first ever experience voting, and voting ALWAYS gets me all emotional to this day.

(And before anyone freaks out - I'm from South Africa and now a Naturalized US Citizen)

I have been voting for fifty years and have not experienced an election quite like the
one we presently have...it has been so inspiring and defining.
