I cannot TOLERATE that blow-hard fossil, Billy Graham. . .

He has a full page ad in the NYT this morning promoting the "sanctity of life" and the "biblical definition of marriage between a man and a woman."

I'm SICK of seeing him treated with kid gloves, as politicians on the right AND the left invite him for "prayer breakfasts" and other equally useless events. I wonder how much of his money was obtained tax-free?

His ministry should have its tax-exempt status YANKED, and somebody should tell the tired old fool to shut his puckered pie hole for good.

5. I am so glad that he can speak freely

as that just insures that we all can speak freely. It gives you the ability to email him directly and tell him that he needs to shut his pie hole for good. Don't wait for somebody else if you feel so strongly. You have that right and it is about time we feel as if we all may speak loud and clear on any topic we wish! We don't have to be someone famous. Just speak your mind! Just for information.... It is my understanding he is retired and no longer has a "ministry" that is taxable or not which is why he can endorse a candidate without any tax issues.

endorsement? All of a sudden Mittens has a meeting with him at his home and then he takes Mormon off his list of cults and puts this ad out?

I think he got cash.

I usually left, if I wasn't around to begin with.

I'm pretty sure she sent him money, too.

Sad.

Graham is basically in a nearly vegetative state at this point. He's not saying anything. This is the work of opportunists using his name and reputation.

Not that Graham isn't a blow-hard fossil, mind you...

This was mid-60's and the word in Black Mountain NC was that Grahams kid's were so badly behaved the school bus driver wouldn't let them on the bus.

He was not a popular figure in Black Mountain, the locals knew him too well.

Now, his son, Franklin, is another story. I suspect Franklin had a hand in purchasing that ad. He's NOT to be trusted AT ALL!
