Poll Shows Majority Harbor Prejudice Against Blacks

WASHINGTON — Racial attitudes have not improved in the four years since the United States elected its first black president, an Associated Press poll finds, as a slight majority of Americans now express prejudice toward blacks whether they recognize those feelings or not.

...but probably none more so than hopefully another four years will expedite the demise of these backward, ugly teaparty animals.

Take my father in law,for instance....Great guy, retired Union member, lifelong Dem...Tells me he didn't vote at all in 08,because McCain was worthless, but Obama "just isn't ready for the Whitehouse",and for the same reason will sit out this election......When I posited whether his motivation was racial,he was sincerely insulted...His reasoning, his PROOF,that he isn't bigoted is that he has WORKED with black guys through the years..When relating a story,in which a black person has some involvement,he refers,to the ones he knows,as black or colored.. If he refers to folks he does not know, those are Nwords...He doesn't see how any of that indicates a racist attitude....He really thinks he is not.....I think there's a lot of that out there,still....
