Thank You John Sununu for Putting Powell's Endorsement of Obama Back Into The News Cycle.

All day yesterday Team Romney was trying to downplay Colin Powell's endorsement of Obama as being 'no big deal.' They'd almost succeeded too, until John Sununu, with his limitless supply of xenophobia and hate speech blew the dog whistle a little too loud, and the rest of us heard it. Thanks for the assist, Johnny!

So now, let's work to get Sununu's racist comment in the news cycle, because it'll REMIND people that...COLIN POWELL ENDORSED OBAMA.
(The fact that Sununu is an obnoxious racist asshole is not really news. But combine it with the Powell angle, and you've got yourself a winner.)

I love his statement "Frankly, when you LOOK at Colin Powell..." er...you notice he's black?
Shortly after Sununu says this, you can hear the panic set into his voice as he listens in amazement to the shit that's just come out of his own mouth, and you can almost see the gerbil in the wheel in his head start to run around scrambling for ways to get out of it. Apparently it settled on the following "solution" to his foot-in-mouth predicament: "Powell only endorsed Obama because of racism, but...uh...but...I er....I APPLAUD IT!" Nice save, Dingleberry.

This was in the MA-NH market; local coverage. MA looks good for POTUS, but any trash talking of Sununu in NH is a good thing for our team.

4. You've really got to wonder at what point Team Romney will realize Sununu is a huge liability?

He's great for energizing the base, but I'm sure somebody MUST have done the math on how many independent voters they lose every time this obnoxious cretin lays another egg on national TV.

This "racist reference" thing is pretty damn disgusting, and I will bet it gets worse before election day. Between Palin with her "shuck-n-jive" and this asshole with his pompous insult to a former cabinet official, I think they're taking the gloves off and will get more offensive rather than less. I wonder if he has a suit of sheets in his closet..?

Havana, Cuba. What a freaking hypocrite

Sununu was born in Havana, Cuba, the son of Victoria (née Dada) and John Saleh Sununu, an international film distributor of Rûm Palestinian descent[1][2] who belonged to the Greek Orthodox Church of Jerusalem.[3] His father grew up in the Ottoman Empire's Mutasarrifate of Jerusalem in Palestine and his mother was born in San Salvador, El Salvador, as part of the mass exodus of Ottoman subjects seeking a better life abroad.

8. Just think! Glenn Beck would only have to use THREE chalkboards to connect Sununu to The Muslim

Brotherhood, as opposed to the FIVE chalkboards he had to use to connect Uma Abedin to it. And, unlike with Abedin, he wouldn't even have to use KEVIN BACON to make the final link!
