Think Ed Rendell has good judgement? He doesn't.

http://talkingpointsmemo.com/archives/004319.php

If you`re looking at Social Security, there, there's got to be room to compromise. The work that Senator Breaux did and Senator Kerrey did with some of the moderate Republicans really is a road map for us to solve Social Security. And maybe we do what the president wants to do, private savings accounts as a pilot program and see where it goes, something that is more fundable and doesn't run up the national debt.

he said this in 2005.

There's a list a mile long of the dumb things he's said.

Not saying Rendell is a dumb man, in fact he is smart. But get him on national TV and his brain turns into jello.

Why post this now? Did he just say something similar? Some might not read the whole post down to "2005" and think that he was referring to President Obama.

4. yes, he's saying dumb things today

he's saying dumb things this week.

he says dumb things routinely and has been doing so for over a decade. he's not a dumb man, but like i said, get him on national tv and suddenly the person he is supposedly representing will wonder if Ed is on their team or their opponent's.

it's relevant now because whenever he talks, it depresses people here --and i'm pointing out that he's been wrong so often that people should just ignore what he says.

8. well and Ed shouldn't be so clueless about his party's message at that time ("hell no")

but i think that's why he gets invited to so many of these TV shows.

because he'll just say whatever the hell he wants and then it will become a point of controversy because (as it turns out), he speaks for nobody in his party --even though he was invited on because he's expected to speak for his party.

my gosh, the more i talk about this, the dumber he sounds.

The one that put in the provision, at the request of big pharma, that the govt IS NOT ALLOWED to negotiate pricing with pharma?

Do I look like a MORAN to him?
