If Romney -- god forbid -- is elected

Has he explained how he will deal with the plight of all the people he plans to kick off Obamacare, Medicare, SS, Pell grants, welfare assistance, and all the other public programs that uplift and support all those citizens AFTER he removes all the safety nets?

I've been searching, but all I can find is that he want to push everything off on the states, but how would they possibly pick up the costs? It seems that rightwing voters are just thrilled about creating all this social upheaval and they have given no thought to the actual, real world consequences that will place th lives of millions of vulnerable Americans in jeopardy.

I don't need an advanced degree in math to see that none of this adds up, so I don't understand... what's the payoff for Republicans to do this? Am I missing the fine print or some addendum where it outlines what happens to all these people?

Because no one would vote for them if they did. They won't. Remember Alan Grayson? They called him crazy because he laid out the GOP's plans for the sick, poor, elderly, indigent:

1. Don't get sick (or become unemployed or poor due to no fault of your own and don't age or get injured). And, if you do;
2. Die quickly.

That's it. That is the GOP's "plan" for these people. They can't SAY that. But they can and WILL do it.

meant having to bring your elders home from the nursing home to care for them yourself, Rmoney would get NO votes.

He has already made that amply clear. Plan to deal with them is to let them die. Or put them in prison if they make a fuss. And keep the rest complacent with propaganda and jesus juice.

those who vote for Romney will do so only because that is the only way to get rid of a black president. They are shamefully racist and ignorant.

even if all these low-information voters believe Romney's Pony Show, won't the blow-back still fall back on Romney to come up with a solution? He can't just think he will only be the president of the affluent 1% and ignore the people that he harms.

I remember seeing heart wrenching photos after the collapse of the USSR where old ladies were trying to earn a few coins by begging or sweeping the streets with twig-brooms. Little children were forced into the sex trade and crime was rampant. People were starving and freezing to death in downtown Moscow because there was no such thing as public assistance programs. Is that what we can expect in Romney's glorious new utopia?

They expect private charities to pick up the slack. Of course, there will be absolutely no government funding for those charities.

And if the private charities can't pick up the slack...oh well. Survival of the fittest, why should the rich pay for those who can't support themselves?

There it is, in a nutshell.

even if that is true we will have only beat back the problem temporarily. I don't see it going away in our lifetimes (if ever), do you?

Also I can't see how the 1% can not have a plan for dealing with massive societal unrest and threat of an uprising by their victims. I shudder to think.
