I guess that I live in the 47% area (which right now it's getting windswept).

Very funny, although I would have called FL "retirees", "old geezers" or something similar.

I can tell you that I'm still in the middle of reading it, and enjoying it - William Bernhardt is a good author!

I call him poor man's version of John Grisham.

I recently joined AmazonPrime for some-pretty good buys. I like jazz and have found some great CDs for as low as $7!

Amazon Prime

There is a yearly membership fee but if you like to purchase movies, books, music and etc, you can save $$$!

Nicht schlecht!

Excellent work you're already doing, although California won't be a problem for us for the foreseeable future (not that we should EVER take it for granted - the bad guys would LOVE to turn it into a red state!).

Glad you're here! We need you! This "Hollywood Liberal" - according to this map anyway - salutes you!

50. True. Only about 85 percent are.

In the little town where my mom grew up a "mixed marriage" was when a good German girl married a Swede or a Norseman. But at least the Swedes and Norwegians were Lutherans, too, so it wasn't a total deal breaker.

I hadn't thought of the election in those terms, but that sort of says it. Obama -- a lush landscape, flowing streams, beautiful birds. Happy days really are here again. Palin -- freezing temperatures and a bleak and colorless landscape in vast areas.

He used to use England under Thatcher to deflect questions as to why his policies weren't working. He'd claim they worked great over there and we all had to be patient because we had just gone through the sheer hell of Jimmy Carter who had destroyed the economy. Forget about Ford and his "WIN" buttons, the economy was GREAT under Republicans and nosedives under Democrats.

Same thing Mitt is planning on doing if he gets in.

73. Just read a piece of

premier fiction about Snake Handlers (full disclosure I have been told there are some of those nuts in my family tree) Book Title: A LAND MORE KIND THAN HOME, highly rec. it.

A stunning debut reminiscent of the beloved novels of John Hart and Tom Franklin, A Land More Kind Than Home is a mesmerizing literary thriller about the bond between two brothers and the evil they face in a small western North Carolina town.

86. Here in Colorado a Super PAC is playing the "built my own coffin" ad. Every 20-30 minutes.

It's crazy. Almost overkill really.

87. The placement of the 47% is strange

Particularly since that area includes Wall Street and the rest of Manhattan.
