Mourdock: 'I KNOW' I GAINED VOTERS AFTER RAPE COMMENTS

For his part, Mourdock told reporters Thursday that he believed that the furor would pass quickly and that rather than hurting him, it has helped. Asked if he had gained voter support as a result, he said, "I know I did," according to IndyStar.com.

from people who weren't going to vote for his opponent under any circumstances. Many that might have voted for him and didn't call, are re-thinking if they want this kind of representation in their district and their state. You can only push the moderates so far until you alienate them, but go ahead and stay in the bubble dream world that 15 old white farts calling you up and praising you for "putting the little women in their place if they mess up and get raped" should bear that baby is a winner.

You might be pro-life, but your campaign is in its death-throes right about now, Mr. Mordouck, and your mouth is what ended that life.
