CEO Urges Employees To Vote For Romney--Received $1B+ in Bailouts Under Obama

Jack DeWitt, Request Foods CEO, Urges Employees To Vote For Romney

WASHINGTON -- In this month's employee newsletter, the head of a Michigan processed-food company endorsed Republican nominee Mitt Romney and criticized President Barack Obama for spending too much government money. Jack DeWitt, the president of Request Foods, called Obama "a complete failure," slamming him on social and economic issues. He did not mention that his company received millions in federal money under Obama.

Request Foods obtained $5.5 million under a federal grant program that Obama's stimulus bill increased by $1 billion. Last year, the company greatly expanded its footprint in Holland, Mich., where it used the money for a water treatment plant to serve a new facility.

The company has also seen a strong increase in sales during the Obama administration.

DeWitt did not return a request for comment; his office said he was not available.

You know the people most likely to be suckered in major fraud? CEOs. CFOs. People who think they know about money.

My boss threatened to fire me and my 7 co-workers if we voted Democratic.
We were pulled into a meeting at our Westinghouse service center in Lake Oswego
Oregon and were told, " If you vote for Dems, your jobs will be gone" I stood up,
told my boss he was full of shit and bet him 1k dollars that if Dems got in, not only would
our jobs be safe, but we would all prosper. Here's what happened: My wife and my
income tripled within a year, we bought our first house, we bought 2 new cars,
I got to golf 3 times a week and we went skiing every weekend during the winter.
Here's the thing, the meeting with our boss was 2 weeks before Bill Clinton was elected.
I am still waiting for the 1k my boss still owes me. Today we are struggling to keep our house, our 2 cars are 20 years old because we can't afford new ones. Things are starting to get better for us even with republican obstruction.

years for him as President is more than they can bear. They are over the edge and will never recover. It makes them irrational, disrespectful, and exposes their real disdain for anyone NOT rich, white, male, and privileged. There is no getting around this. They would rather destroy this nation and hurt their own employees than have this man re-elected. I just hope their employees understand what kind of people they work for and go on and vote their own conscience.

Seriously, these guys have no shame. The only thing they share in common with one another is greed. It wouldn't matter what Obama did for them 3.5 years ago. Now that things are good again for them they just want their corporate tax breaks again. They just want to slam the door of opportunity closed again now that they've walked through it.

Repugnantcan'ts are loyal to one thing only... money. And they'll get in bed with any corporation, country, or extremist right wing group to see that they earn as much of it for themselves as they possibly can, regardless of the consequences for others.

I couldn't be more proud that America looks to be set to vote Obama in for another 4 years purely on people power. The Repugnantcan'ts have spun all the negative data and ignored what he inherited. They've spent more than a billion in ads and Superpac lies. They've held the country hostage via the House. And yet in less than 2 weeks... despite all of those obstacles, all that money, all those lies, and all those poly-sci tricks and tactics to earn votes... they'll STILL be defeated. That gives me faith not just in America but humanity in general.
