Remember how the republicans were all over Kerry to give up his seat and all the talk shows every week - I have not heard a peep about Ryan - but it would be nice if he was totally gone

6. People like him win when they lose

It frees him up to go after the real reason they exist to begin with. I frees him up to the grifter circuit. He will make tons of $ lobbying, speaking, and writing books. Then he will run for president in 2012 and raise a lot of money that he will launder to himself.
