President Obama On Mourdock: ‘I Don’t Know Where They Come Up With These Ideas’
Jay Leno asked President Obama about Indiana Republican Senate nominee Richard Mourdock in an interview set to air on Wednesday's "Tonight Show." According to the pool report, Obama was baffled by Mourdock's remarks about rape, pregancy and God's will.
(snip) When Leno asked Obama about Mourdock's remarks, Obama said "rape is rape. It's a crime." "I don't know how (they) come up with these ideas...rape is rape. It is a crime," Obama said. "These various distinctions about rape don't make too much sense to me, don't make any sense to me." (snip) "This is exactly why you don't want a bunch of politicians, mostly male, making decisions about women's health care decisions," he told Leno. "Women are capable of making these decisions in consultation with their partners, with their doctors, and for politicians to want to intrude in this stuff often times without any information is a huge problem." http://livewire.talkingpointsmemo.com/entry/obama-on-mourdock-i-dont-know-where-they

".... and for politicians to want to intrude in this stuff often times without any information is a huge problem"
It sure is.....GOP back off! They are a bunch of angry old white men strutting there stuff...telling women what they should do with there bodies? Really? I mean really? Okay it has to be said...Viagra for men is GOOD. It is covered by insurance however birth control is BAD and they do not wish to have it covered. So we the taxpayer pays to allow a man to get an erection yet we don't allow a woman taxpayer funded assistance for birth control.....so if she gets pregnant the GOP wants her to have the baby anyway....and will only care about the child until it is born. Then bye bye support. Oh yeah priceless! |
