Anderson Cooper thinks it is breaking news that the State Dept. knew about the Libyan...
... attack in real time. An e-mail has surfaced that shows someone told the State Dept. the shit was hitting the fan. When Cooper asked Fran Townsend she said "You would have expected this Anderson. This is not really breaking news". CNN sucks, and is shilling for the GOP. Not one freaking mention of the fact that Issa released the names of our contacts in Libya. And they continue this Foxnews lie that the President is covering-up this whole incident. Who ever came up with this "liberal media" crap should shut the hell up.

2. Anderson Cooper is not a journalist.
|
He got his gig because his mama is rich and he wrote stories about his lavish vacations. His writing about how he spent his summer vacations really paid off.

3. Remember when everyone used to say " Quick! Turn on CNN!"

That was a very long time ago. A very, very, long time ago.
Today's CNN is a laughing stock. |

5. THE NUMBERS!
|
I would really like to know the numbers for CNN after they started moving more and more to the right. They are trying their best to cut into FAUX NEWS viewership, but they don't understand the average idiot that watches FAUX. They will NEVER turn from FAUX news no matter what CNN tries to do!

6. CNN has been pushing to find a smoking gun all along

Last edited Wed Oct 24, 2012, 08:45 PM USA/ET - Edit history (1) To her credit, starting right after the attack, Fran Townsend (despite being a former Bush official) has pushed back several times against Anderson's unfounded suggestions blaming the Administration. She told Anderson several weeks ago that during several discussions she had recently with Ambassador Stevens, he had never mentioned any concern about security or fear of attacks. She implied that that the attacks could not have been predicted or prevented especially since there seemed to be some influence from the video.
CNN and Fox are irrationally obsessed with the Libya incident |

13. There was no influence from the video.

That is the position of the State Department.
http://articles.philly.com/2012-10-10/news/34364377_1_benghazi-attack-consulate-attack-terror-attacks They were warned of violence ahead of time. Again this was the sworn testimony of the State Department. http://www.washingtonpost.com/world/national-security/before-attack-on-us-mission-in-libya-state-dept-concluded-risk-of-violence-was-high/2012/10/09/16270dce-123c-11e2-a16b-2c110031514a_story.html |

12. CNN found a diary and they REALLY NEED this to be a big story so they can get better ratings
|
They are sure if they can come up with something that people will somehow flock back to that decrepit sorry excuse for journalism TV channel. They are foaming at the mouth.

14. This is not an election issue that ended in the debate.
|
Nobody cares about it anymore as it passed the debate test issue. The President came out and answered it in a professional manner and that is it. Can't be used against him. He has always had his eye on the terrorism.

Obama will win and the only reason they will have pretended to care is because it's election season.

Last edited Wed Oct 24, 2012, 09:54 PM USA/ET - Edit history (1) Like Fox, suggesting a coverup and playing it up as a big "gate" thing. I finally quit watching the show a couple weeks ago.
He's also had Bomb-Bomb McCain on to try to make a case of "weak" policy on Syria. He milked the weak Fast and Furious cow dry. My opinion in 2000 was that CNN screwed Al Gore and let Bush off easy every chance they got. I believe post-election media studies suggested the same. |

17. Sadly, the (far, far) right are saying that the reason for the whole "cover-up"
|
from the admin, is that they were running an Al Qaeda version of Fast & Furious. That's right folks, they're claiming that the President who has killed more Al Qaeda than any other, is now selling guns to them. Talk about going over a cliff.
