1. excellent!

I saw him in St Pete 3 years ago as Mark Twain and he was magnificent. You could tell he chose a couple quotes to purposely slam the greed of the megacorporations.

You vote on the candidates that actually run, not the candidates that you may have wanted to run.

Because when people claim, cross my heart will never, ever, vote for a republican...

And with Prop 14 this will happen repeteadly in California.

There aren't a lot of decent Republicans left, but every now and then you run across one, and you run across a Democrat that isn't worth a fart in a whirlwind.

which is why i choose to live in oakland, ca. i'd probably vote green, independent or peace and freedom if there wasn't a viable dem, and if the opposition wasn't too odious.

I, too, have voted for Republicans and Democrats (okay, okay, I was only 18 when I voted for that one Republican, and to be fair, he was a moderate ~ when they still existed!).
I wish there we still moderate Republicans left on earth.....

I am glad someone FINALLY pointed that out. When these assholes like McConnell, Boehner and Cantor stonewall the President, they slap the majority of the American people in the face. So much for "the will of the people".

It is time for the majority to realize that we can make a difference. Now until Nov 6th is the time that the majority needs to say "Republicans-get out of the way", we have work to do. If you don't want to work with us, then we will remove you as an obstacle.

17. Political gain means financial gain, at least for repugs in office

If they were to stonewall and argue about side issues when times are good, who cares. But they do so now during times of distress and peril and only for their own gain. The thing is that it seems like they are all behaving like 5 year olds rather than adults. We can all benefit from working together. We can all be enriched. But the RW only looks at themselves and says me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, and f*&k you.
