Threatening to cut off severance if they keep demonstrating.

...so that it wouldn't be construed as a threat, such as "Let's kill all the capitalist bosses," or some other such nonsense. A decision by the Supreme Court protected a teacher of mine, Dr. Oliver Lee's 1st Amendment rights after the right wing went after him for what amounted to 'promoting a death threat,' when he talked about conversation regarding the theoretical fragging of senior officers in the Viet Nam conflict.
If anything is 'garbage,' it's calling the language of someone else 'garbage,' when ones premise is wrong in the first place. |

8. It wasn't a direct threat...Just a suggestion that carrying out a violent act would be justified.
