MITT ROMNEY ALLEGEDLY LIED IN COURT TO SCREW OVER FRIEND'S WIFE (TMZ so let us be careful...?)
MITT ROMNEY
ALLEGEDLY LIED IN COURT TO SCREW OVER FRIEND'S WIFE Multiple sources connected with the divorce tell TMZ ... during Tom's uber nasty divorce case with ex-wife Maureen, Mitt Romney gave a deposition and testified during the trial that Staples was worth virtually nothing. Romney testified that the company was worth very little and Tom was a dreamer and "the dream continues." Romney characterized the Staples stock as "overvalued," adding, "I didn't place a great deal of credibility in the forecast of the company's future." Partly as a result of Romney's testimony, Maureen got relatively little in the divorce, but we're told just weeks after the divorce ended, Romney and Tom went to Goldman Sachs and cashed in THEIR stock for a fortune. Short story -- Romney allegedly lied to help his friend and screw the friend's wife over. And there's more ... Our sources say years later, Maureen, who suffered from MS and had multiple bouts with cancer, got a visit from one of Tom's guys, who gave her papers informing her that Tom was cancelling her health insurance. Our sources say the irony here is that we're told Tom was working as one of then Governor Mitt Romney's chief health care advisers. ................. 4. He was not a legal resident of MA, and yet was allowed to become the governor..

Rove & the gang will whitewash this.. There's no "there" there.
Mittens has been anointed with Teflon He's the "not-the-black-guy" to too many republicans..and they seem to be able to overlook everything about him Dems tipped their hand early on when they decided to fight "fair". Republicans have removed that word from their vocabulary. They do what it takes to win..lie, steal, cheat, defame. We will be lucky to win this time around because, (not so) coincidentally, the states that are vital for us to win, are also the states where the skullduggery is at its pinnacle. |

Lying in court? Cashing stock with Goldman Sachs to make a fortune while screwing your friend's wife over?

13. Lying is everywhere
|
so lying in court may not be a game changer. Lawyers & judges can tell you it's an everyday thing in courts.
The GOP diehards (high and low) will admire it--just "workin the system." The Dems will be appalled because that defines Dems--who operate more honestly or at least uphold the ideal. The Undecideds will have to decide whether lying under oath matters--the ones leaning towards integrity go D...ones leaning towards exploitation go R. It may help them make up their minds since it's a basic character question. Cheating defines Rethuglicon, DUH. This is their modus operandi. -------------- Anchor baby or sister wife would have been a whole lot juicier October surprise.... |
