With 30 minutes to go before Trump's dump some think it's the drug-related rumor and not divorceLast edited Wed Oct 24, 2012, 11:32 AM USA/ET - Edit history (1)
The worst part about Trump's rumor is that it brought out all sorts of old rumors (Some of which I wasn't even familiar with as an Obama supporter) and that's precisely why he built it up like that and wanted people to start gossiping. I realize that to some it may feel like I'm doing the same but I'm concerned over what this smear attempt might mean for idiotic voters who are easily swayed by such things, so I did some digging and found this:
http://www.radaronline.com/exclusives/2012/10/president-obama-sold-cocaine-college-trump-charges-republicans-reject Apparently, some idiot's been going around trying to claim that he has proof, and other witnesses, and is willing to take a polygraph test about the coke stories but nobody has wanted to touch this guy until Trump came along. This has birther written all over it if that's the case and probably won't be picked up much by other outlets. If this is his October surprise I don't think it'll get the air time that the divorce papers might have had. It's pure speculation and with Trump's birther past he'll just sound like the crazy pyscho that he is.

4. I agree. I think this allegation will lead nowhere.

To be honest, I was more concerned over what might be contained in any divorce paper leak. For one because people love hearing the word "leak" and two because they like reading other people's documents. But most importantly because whenever people get divorced they often list the reason and that could have been bad.
If this ends up just being some drug addict's word that Obama did and sold drugs 30 years ago I don't think it's going to lead anywhere. |

2. Trump has sub-zero credibility.
|
He needs to stay home and do something with his wig instead of polluting the airwaves with this nonsense.

6. I heard that too but it seemed more like he was reacting to the divorce rumor than this
|
Since the divorce rumor was the more prominent one.

7. I'm so concerned. I note that you've posted numerous OPs about this.

Obviously you are very concerned as well. We're all terribly, terribly concerned about what this might mean.
I believe it is the end. The sky is falling and the Mayan prophecy will take place at noon today. I could not be more concerned. Handwringingly yours. |

13. Drugs? He talked about in his book. Divorce? So what?
|
what else ya got? Seriously.
And the coke stories are OLD NEWS - I know you're a right-winger, so you probably haven't read any of his books, but he talked about it himself. |

Last edited Wed Oct 24, 2012, 11:56 AM USA/ET - Edit history (1) This "news" had me up all night. I'm scared to death about something stupid derailing the President and looking for some reassurance and support from others like me.
I'm the guy that's been trying to organize Democratic supporters to respond to all message boards and retweet any positive news possible the nights of debates and the morning afterward in order to try and encourage a positive narrative for the President. I'm the guy who's been promoting the President's policies for the better part of a year anywhere I can. If you knew how much time I'd spend debating with people about why Obama deserves 4 more years you'd probably be shocked. Heck, I would. It's ridiculous and these past two weeks I've reached a fever pitch of anticipation. Do NOT mistake insecurity and nervousness for trolling. I am simply trying to figure out what the heck Trump has so that we can discuss how to defeat it. |
