From an email CNN just sent out:
Debate viewers split 48% for President Obama and 40% for GOP challenger Mitt Romney in the poll, with a sampling error of plus or minus 4.5 percentage points.
A majority, 59%, of those who watched the Boca Raton, Florida, debate thought Obama performed stronger than expected, while 15% thought he was weaker than expected and 23% thought he performed on par with their expectations.
Romney outperformed the expectations of 44% of debate watchers, while 26% thought he performed weaker than expected and 26% said he performed on par with expectations.
It's completely laughable how predictable CNN is. What a joke.

(8,646 posts)they can't get worse (because they'll blow their cover - ooops too late) they get worse. 48-40 is never a tie. Clearly, they have moved from not being able to be objective on over to not being able to count.

(3,960 posts)They skew it like this because they claim more rebubs watched the debate than dem. They are hopelessly failing the American people by claiming these numbers are reflective of the entire population.

(9,893 posts)I was really kind of surprised.
Ari Fleischer and Alex Castellanos, of course, thought that Rmoney won. I can't stand those guys.
Carville thought that Obama had won. Said that Obama did as well as 2d debate.

I'm only asking because he characterized the results of this poll:
as a split decision.
