I have a two part contest for 3rd debate, In part one, how many seconds will there be between Romney lies.
In the second Presidential debate, Romney told a lie every 79 seconds. In the Vice Presidential debate, Paul Ryan told a lie every 100 seconds. In the first Presidential debate, Romney told a lie every 84 seconds.
I am in at 75 seconds between lies for Romney in the third and final debate.
In addition to selecting a poll option, please respond with an exact number.

(8,377 posts)Please note that the format is identical to the first debate, which didn't end well for Obama.
I don't think that's a problem. Obama will be prepared for that, and this format keeps that asshole from getting in the President's face.
The idea of 10-minute segments makes a lot more sense for foreign policy than for domestic policy. In fact, I'd say it is a big advantage for Obama to have topics that will be covered in some depth. Romney will play out his entire understanding in the first 20 seconds of each topic, and could look pretty weak for his remaining 4 minutes on each segment.

(32,886 posts)We're closing in on 100 lies in the four debates. I think the odds Romney will pass 100 lies is close to 90% as we are at 82 lies for the two of them already.
The Public has had so many lies thrown at them, its hard to counter the ones already told plus the new ones that are coming.

(32,886 posts)24 lies in 41 minutes =
24 lies in 2460 seconds =
a lie every 102.5 seconds! As bad as that is, its an improvement for Romney
The only person who guessed over 100 seconds was Bluestreak!

(8,377 posts)I didn't expect him to simply parrot everything Obama said.
In that sense, just about everything Romney said was a lie, or at least disingenuous.
