A quick reminder to all those voting absentee ballot

please always MAKE sure you copy your ballot before sending to your local office. If they tell you that they did not receive it or it got lost in the mail, you can always produce a copy of the original.

what kind of copy would be acceptable?

Should those that send one in, if able, go to say a library and get a free notarized somehow copy?(is that possible?)

is just a scanner/printer in the home enough for real proof?

I'm not sure about notorizing it, I'm assuming that people can use common sense and should know how to make a simple copy.

received your mail-in ballot. Maybe other places do, too. Maybe you can call or email
your County Voter's registrar if you have questions about this. Our County even has a 'live chat' feature.

Remember that every state - and sometimes every county in a state - does things a bit differently, and what goes in one state may not be allowed in another. California seems to be particularly voter-friendly: it's never occurred to me to keep a copy of my ballot. The one time my ballot did go missing in the mail the registrar's office was very helpful. I might not be so confident if I lived in Virginia or Ohio, though.

If Obama doesn't win this, I will refuse to accept Romney as a viable leader. The entire GOP is corrupt or cowardly.
