What If Rmoney Saves The Sensata Jobs Before The Election?....

What if Rmoney stops the sending of the Sensata jobs to China and all those people in Freeport that lost their jobs get to keep them? Will Rmoney be touted as a hero? Will the people of Freeport vote for Rmoney?

Sensata has already spent money bringing those Chinese workers over. They probably have a plant built or leased. No way they stop the move. Romney would have accepted the workers request to meet if he had any intention of intervening.

It's a very blue collar town...but we're in a very red part of the state of Illinois. So while it may affect some, I don't think it'll change much. (Stephenson County IL where Freeport is located went for Obama in 2008 53% http://www.city-data.com/city/Freeport-Illinois.html graph is near the bottom of the page)

Under that scenario, Not only do the workers of sensata get to keep their jobs, but once again romney walks into a trap he himself set. If he steps in and saves their jobs, then every protest from Romney's mouth about how his money is in a blind trust or how he is not directly responsible for all the other things that Bain has done go right out the window.

He saves sensata, and becomes even more explicitly responsible for every other job he destroyed, for every dollar that was sent to tax sheltered accounts, etc. In essence, the lives he has mauled for personal gain would suddenly be right at his door.

His tactic is to deny he has anything to do with it.

"You see, I haven't been part of Bain since 1999. And this matter of my $8 million being in the corporation that owns Sensata, well, that's in a blind trust -- just like the President has some money in Sensata too through his pension. You can't hold either of us to that. Why do you hate America so much?"

I knw I saw some Chinese workers in Freeport being introduced to the american workers who have to train them. I have no idea if they've started shipping equipment yet, but I wouldn't be surprised. Hearing some of the employees saying their last day of work was today, that tells me some things have already been moved.

Besides, Mittens would't ever consider keeping that business in freeport.

Then if rMoney saves the jobs it will look like the President shamed him into it

But in reality the contracts are signed and it is a done deal, I do not think Bain will back out because it then hurts their corporate image
