My electoral college projection for today: Obama 290 electoral votes.
October 19, 2012:
I'm starting to feel pessimistic about Virginia. Too many polls are giving Romney a 2 or 3 point spread. I might change my mind later on if there is improvement. Beyond Virginia, I think the president is in pretty good shape. Florida looks like it might be shifting a little back in our direction.

Starting today, I will post my useless electoral college projections based on polling, demographics and electoral history. Today I predict that Barack Obama will win 303 electoral votes. Romney takes 235, picking up Indiana, North Carolina and Florida.

3. "Too many polls are giving Romney a 2 or 3 point spread"
Wrong!! Only one (Rasmussen) is giving Romney a three point spread. The rest, outside of the republican leaning outlier McLaughlin (R-Allen) (R+7) from over 10 days ago, show Obama winning or losing by only one. So, two very right-leaning polls, and the rest show it a dead heat.
Come on people.
