General Discussion
Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsI will say it right now: Nevada is off the table.
I don't know why the MSM is calling it a battleground state at this point. All the data I've seen indicate that it's pretty darn blue. Anyone disagree?

(4 posts)This difference is within the margin of error and considering Nevada's unemployment rate i am not sure i would agree with you.

(102 posts)Thankfully we have Harry Reid over there. Obama's team + Harry's machine, I'm confident we'll have Nevada.

(111 posts)NV and OH are polling pretty similarly. The funny thing is OH may not be the horserace the media implies. Mitt has never had an RCP average lead in OH.

(17,862 posts)a back up for Iowa or as part of the Doomsday scenario (loss of FL, OH, NC, and VA) but you can still win with MI, PA, WI, CO, IA, NV, and NH.
Other combinations:
MI, PA, VA, NV, IA, WI and NH
MI, PA, NC, CO, NV, and NH
You want to win every state, but OH is the key Without that Romney cannot win, and it is the most likely of the key states to fall. Lots of combinations work with it
MI, PA, OH, WI or CO, IA or NV for example. With the loss of OH Romney would be liminted in what is left
NH, WI, and CO
NH, CO, NV, and IA
WI and two others not including NH (IA, CO, and NV)
The IA an WI polls are devastating to him. He has no option but to pull all four of the big states (FL, OH, NC, and VA).
