A Masterful Asswhupping
The only way to describe Obamas performance in Tuesdays debate. Mitt came into the ring expecting to push everyone around and simply got his ass handed to him on a silver platter - how perfectly fitting.
My favorite was the "Proceed Governor" bit. It reminds me of a technique I once learned to use when a bully is shoving you. Instead of pushing back or resisting the shoving, you turn yoursef light as a feather and ride back from the first two shoves. When the bully starts the third shove, you push the insides of his arms outward. Expecting to meet the resistance of your body weight, his arms are now flung uselessly outward, and with nothing to slow his forward momentum, he starts falling forward off balance - right into a cocked fist. Seeing Obama use this tactic brought tears of joy to me Irish eyes!

he even looked at Obama expecting him to try and stop him with this quizzical look. Instead he got "Please proceed Governor"
