6. When I first saw that look on his face

I was reminded of a man I knew who'd get in trouble at work and then take it out on his wife. Ann's comment that "he dumps, dumps, dumps on me" got me wondering if she understands the abusive nature of that behavior. I don't care for her views, but the woman already suffers from MS; the idea that he would heap further suffering on her simply compounds my loathing for him.
