Voters still expect Obama to win

An ABC News / Washington Post Poll released today provides new information on voters' expecations of who will win. Among registered voters, 53% expected Obama to win, whereas 33% thought that Romney would win.

Recent research found that such vote expectation surveys provided very accurate predictions of U.S. presidential elections in the past. Based on today's poll, the vote expecation forecast predicts Obama to gain 51.7% of the popular vote, which is only slightly higher than the latest PollyVote forecast.

Am I really reading this map right? Obama can win even without getting ANY of the current tossup states, while Romney would need to win all of them AND MORE?
