Anybody get a copy of the Florida ballot yet?

My son is writing me about a longwinded part about amending the constitution (FL) to prohibit ObamaCare from being implemented in the state.. He is emailing it to me and I will post it here when I get a copy.

Here it is DECIDE FOR YOURSELF:

4. Yes, that is an amendment to the Florida Constitution

but that would be declared unconstitutional under the Supremacy Clause. FEDERAL Law trumps State law. The Supreme Court has ruled that the ACA is a TAX and constitutional. Florida can do NOTHING about that.

12. Well, just voting it down might be a double protection from it.

Edit TO ADD:
There are some who maybe be confused by the length or language of it, so I thought a heads up might be a good choice. After all, it's not the only choice and it's kinda in the middle of it.

13. think of the Veterans,

and then remember that every one of these amendments was written by the Florida legislature, one of the most
corrupt (in my opinion) branches of government ever to have control of a state.

I've been following the TampaBayTimes recommendations and they say the same thing I do. VOTE NO on all of them.

Remember, if you cannot fathom what the amendment is about by reading the first four sentences, it's bullshit.

7. Amendments

There were several more amendments proposed, but the courts, in an unusual move ruled they were constructed with the purpose of deliberately misleading voters on their intent and were struck from the ballot. Of those left, most deal with taxes and exemptions. Some shift the tax burden from one group to another, some give special consideration to a group or class and are all designed to redirect power to the state legislature which, in case you are unfamiliar with Florida politics, is the most corrupt bunch of good-ole-boys you will ever encounter. These amendments are all dressed up to look nice, but they are mostly wolves in sheeps clothing. My recommendation is to vote NO on most of them. The Palm Beach Post had a great editorial detailing what each purports to do versus what each will actually do.

8. Thanks...

I'm going to look at the article. I'm all for anything helping veterans, since I am one. However, if it's a front... I'm voting NO.

11. the question to ask is, who is in power, who put the changes on the ballot, and who wants the change

I dont trust the state house, so I'd be more likely to vote NO
