just took a walk around my neighborhood...

covered just over two miles...

yeah, i live in central Austin, nobody is bothering to spend any money here.

9 Obama signs, 2 Romney

Plus 3 O bumper stickers.

My (football) team got their ass handed to them today. Walk made me feel better. I donated again.

Our President is going to win.

that is all

Ahem, we're here and it's not hopeless. My Houston area cul-de-sac neighbors are all for Obama. txwhitedove Oct 2012 #13
The Houston area is a more promising sign for us. Austin votes a little more like mucifer Oct 2012 #14

He was really down and very critical of the team. It sounds like he is expecting to be "retired" or something. Your thoughts?

As a fan base, we're a lot more tolerant than others. aTm comes to mind.

But this is 3 in a row. thats an eternity in texas football. For the talent, the brand, the money at this school, thats enough. Macks just not hungry anymore. he should have retired in 2009.

Manny Diaz was never prepared for B12 spread offenses. Total bust.

It starts to impact recruiting, and that can't happen here.

umm...this is me as a hardcore fan, irrespective of any politics.

I haven't seen any Romney signs at all.

However, just a way further north into Williamson
County, and things change in favor of Romney.
That sucks!

Knocked on 30 doors talked the 12 strong Obama supporters and got them up to speed on early voting in NC. It was GREAT to talk to regular Democrats for once. They are not following every single poll and analyzing every breath and grimace in every debate. They ARE excited about voting and excited about the President. These are the unlikely voters too. The ones who are either newly registered or have voted inconsistently in the past. Great day. We can win this!

I haven't seen ANY Romney signs. The closest thing in my neighborhood is a big, poorly-painted "Obama Must Go: Vote 2012" sign. Getting rid of the Pres isn't the same thing as endorsing the other guy, IMO. And I think I've seen a total of 2 RR bumper stickers in the past several months. And this is Texas.
