(21,642 posts)The one where BlackAdder tries to entertain wealthy relatives in one room while holding a drinking contest in another. Good stuff!
We'll probably watch the debate on C-SPAN, minus all the bloviating.

(1,580 posts)I couldn't bear to watch the presidential debate and I won't try this one. I just can't even stand to look at Romney and Ryan is no better and I don't think a constant diet of repuke lies is good for your health.

(22,541 posts)thought it was safe. The rest of the family was watching in another room.
By then their impression was that Obama was losing. All males BTW. I think women had a better impression during the debate of Obama and didn't like Mitt's demeanor at all. I'm generalizing a LOT I know.
As time went by I think men did tend to like Romney's performance less than they had at first, particularly after fact checking.
This time I might stay away completely.

(3,597 posts)I don't usually sleep more than a couple of hours at a time. When I get up at 11, I'll read all the DU posts on the debate, drink a glass of wine, and go back to bed for a couple more hours. Then I'll get up, drink a glass of wine . . .

(14,691 posts)I can't bear to see that twerp, or listen to him. The plan is to read reactions tomorrow a.m. and then if it didn't turn out to be Disaster 2.0, I'll find it on the internet and watch.
