I have to admit something...

I didn't want to admit this because I didn't want to think that Obama really did that terribly, but the polls are in and here we are.

But it seems to me that for someone who really wasn't paying much attention to the election and to Romney's gaffes and basically to Romney in general before the debates, it would seem to them like...

...Romney was putting in much more passion and really getting angry at the lackluster economy and basically reflecting what people really thought about the economy these past few years. Obama on the other hand was looking like he was making the same old excuses as to why the economic recovery was so slow, making the same old "stay the course" argument, and seeming sort of callous as to the people's pain.

This is not my thinking, this is what I would believe many people that don't know much about Romney would think and feel like.

Compared to Obama, Romney put in more passion as to the state of things in America (and even included more references to personal stories), and many Americans seemingly bought it hook, line, and sinker. Obama looked like 2000 Al Gore in comparison (or rather, the stereotypical timid Democratic politician).

Remember, Republicans rely on people's ignorance (as opposed to Democrats relying on people's intelligence.)

What does it say that despite the 47% comment, and all of Romney's lying, that its a toss up race?
To me it says that:

1. Many Americans, especially Republicans and Independents, believe that much of America are moochers and they like to look down other fellow Americans.

2. Many Americans want to blame their hardships on Obama and have just been waiting for Romney to look like a viable candidate.

3. Americans don't care if a politician lies because they just don't care about ethics and morals that much, especially with the accepted levels of greed and selfishness in society (something I think hasn't been talked about much in mainstream society). America seems to have a corruption epidemic, and our politics is just a reflection of it.

Poster Voice for Peace responded to each of your points with this:

thank you

1. Many Americans, especially Republicans and Independents,

Where did they get the idea that Americans are moochers?
Just from living and observing? Nay..

It has been taught and reinforced by talk radio and fox news,
financed by big money, criminals and extremist propagandists,
liars and thieves who profit from war, cheat and deceit.

2. Many Americans want to blame their hardships on Obama
and have just been waiting for Romney to look like a viable
candidate.

Such people would never have thought this stuff up for
themselves. They likely wouldn't even know that Obama is
president, much less the source of all their misery.
Nay... It has been taught to them, and reinforced
daily, by talk radio and fox news and friends.

A large number of people have no real ability to think for
themselves. It's not their fault. They started out human,
with great originality & potential -- but were trained
to obey, not to feel, and not to trust their own original
thoughts, or their own perceptions.

And then there is all the religious fear drilled into people's
poor little psyches. Fear of voting for the wrong person
and going to hell. People don't think this stuff up for
themselves.

I see you did not respond but instead started another OP about your concerns.

But anyway, of course I don't want to think about this, but this is one thing I thought that clueless people who don't know much about the Republican party would think.

economy down. Now he's angry because he put people out of work? I'm angry at his ass for costing me 1/3 of my savings and supporting slave labor in China. There is a video of him saying as much.
