Maybe it's better to have a crook in the office instead of a nice guy.

That is what a friend told me today, a guy who has always voted Dem before. When I laughed because I thought he was joking, he told me that he was serious. He was thinking that because robme knew so many dirty business tactics, he might be better at fixing the economy.

I'm still shaking my head at this convoluted logic, and hoping that there aren't other people out there who are thinking this way.

Rmoney is the one to fix the economy. They love the idea of defunding PBS and welfare and SS and Medicare and think that will magically fix everything. They think in their pinny little heads that they will be sucked up into the vortex of wealth streaming to the 1% even though they have never been even close to that and likely never will be.

This is literally what I have to deal with every day from a certain few repubs here. Thankfully, there are some sane people here too.

If your friend wants to be scammed out of money in order to enrich others, that's his problem

and make billions. A scorpion is going to be a scorpion, so don't be surprised when you do it a favor and it stings you.

how we got here in the first place... that the biggest crook of all put us in this spot. He agreed to all of that but said bush was an idiot; that mittwitt could use his evil to benefit us. I think he was trying to pull my chain a little bit, but I still think he was serious about the basic points.
