6. In PA, the seven-point drop

looks huge, but a previous poll to the one showing Obama up 12, had Obama up only 4 points.

Maybe the 12-point margin reflected a convention bounce and the impact of the 47 percent comment.

9. Since we are less than a month away

it will definitely tighten now that people are engaged. President Obama has continued to run ads here through the summer and through to date - at least in the Philly area. I have seen a couple Rmoney PAC ads the past week or so but hopefully Mr. Obama will make a rally stop here at some point to fire up the crowd!

about Romney losing the lead in Colorado and Iowa.

2. Amendment 64 (pot legalization) is polling higher than Obama in Colorado.

He could probably gain five or ten points by supporting it.

Otherwise, some pro-pot voters may go with Gary Johnson.

20. In any case

Johnson will be taking more of a chunk of Mittfalca's vote count.

3. Let's keep going. keep pushing. No waiting, no stopping

We must move forward. WE ARE on the right side. Let there be no doubt about that. Ignore the naysayers, ignore the noise, we must remain focused on that single goal.

7. Also, Rasmussen has good new for Obama in Iowa

http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/elections/election_2012/election_2012_presidential_election/iowa/election_2012_iowa_president

Iowa is 49 Obama; 47 Romney. Rasmussen took the poll of 500 Iowans on October 7, days after the debate.

Also, Iowa early voting shows Obama with a large early-voting advantage. From yesterday's Washington Times, "About 60 percent of the (Iowa) 127,100 voters who have cast absentee ballots so far were registered Democrats. Twenty-two percent were Republicans and 18 percent were unaffiliated, according to the United States Elections Project.

12. Do Gallup and Rass poll cell phones?

If they don't, there's a huge segment that are being underrepresented in polls. I know the general consensus is that the "youngsters" are cell phone only but I'm middle-aged and I only have a cell and I've never been polled on my cell and I'm DEFINITELY voting for the President.

18. It is the last poll you'd think Obama would be doing well if Obama was sinking

like the media claims. Seems like good news to me.

22. There are eight polls, Obama gained in three (CO, IA, NH) and remained constant in one (NM)

The only poll that showed a big shift was PA.

they don't mention the races they have misjudged by double didgets.

pat cadell thinks they are great and nate silver says they suck so that is a pretty good indicator.
