Registered my neighbor to vote, got it in the mail 10 minutes before the deadline

Here in the burbs of SE PA. Finally got my neighbor, an American citizen born in Serbia registered. She has been here since the late 80's and has never voted.

She checked the D box and will be voting for President Obama.

but for some reason she's just never taken that step. When I brought up the subject a few weeks ago, she shrugged her shoulders and said, 'I'm not political'. Once she pulls that lever (or button, which is what we have here), I think she'll feel most excellent.

She said for future elections I'll have to let her know when they are, and she'll gladly vote. She has two young children, works full time to pay the rent, nasty divorce and just got her Masters Degree. And watches no TV. A lot of people are just living their lives and their head's are just not into it. I used to be like that, though I always got attentive as the campaign's got going.
