Here's the deal...when the rushpublicans make a big deal out of something, the corporate media assumes the "very serious" role but when it happens to Democrats, then it's "both sides do it". The game of nullification has gone on for a long time and is at a fever pitch in this election. Anything a Democrat...or in specific, President Obama, does that can be viewed positive, someone will cast doubt...muddy up the waters...stir the tin foil. This extends to all issues that fly in the face of "conventional wisdom". The water are sufficiently muddied about voter suppression this year as well as REAL registration fraud and the corporate media either downplays it or plays the false equivelency game with it.
My real hope is that there's a DA or three investigating what's gone on here and will bring charges that will extend beyond election day. Amazing how he did exactly what the wingnuts went crazy claiming ACORN did.
