I never mention things like the Public Option Obama claimed any healthcare reform would have to include before he'd sign it, or how he stated he'd put the healthcare negotiations on CSPAN so everyone could see who was 'at the table.' Stuff like that.

I don't say a word

There is no fire

There is no organized Left, no Left political party, no grassroots movement

Lots of smoke (and mirrors) but no fire - not yet anyway

I suppose I could do more, but my home state is a lock for the President.

Right now I'm equally concerned about getting Jay Inslee elected as our Governor.

I'm putting 100% of my effort into that.

4 years ago, I (as a volunteer) helped elect the president. Now I'm a staffer for a congressional race in a district the president has a snowball's chance in hell to win.
