GOP, you had the government YOU deserved when Dubya was pResident. But I had to suffer through it.

In a sane, informed country, the GOP would have been run out of town on a rail. This bunch of walking excrement wouldn't stand a chance of attaining the Presidency/VP or any other public office.

3. I'm reminded of Benjamin Franklin

when he said, "A Republic, madam, if you can keep it."

Our kind of government depends on an informed electorate. Unfortunately, what we have now is a segment of the population who are not only ill-informed, but also are suffering from delusions.

The guy the elephant is dreaming of bases his whole philosophy on a fictional character in a novel written by an addled, psychotic woman who was, at best, a fad in her day. WTF! has this country come to?
