The Romney paradox

Why is a private citizen job creator running for the highest public sector job in America so that he can go out and create private jobs? After listening to him for 6 years, I still don't get it.

For instance the current president, like basically all presidents, boasts the creation of jobs under his administration.

Well Romney claims the president can't boast about it. this is not what a real recovery looks like he tells you. The president can't boast about turning the economy around? He isn't suppose to talk about how domestic energy production is UP. Even though we've been told to drill, baby drill. For Romney those are private energy companies on private land and therefore NOT Obama's doing. So according to Mitt; Obama can't do things to influence private sector job creation and private energy production. If they go up it isn't due to anything Obama did.

But wait Obama can influence private sector jobs. Romney keeps telling us the job world would be better if Obama wasn't hampering private job growth and energy production with things like rules and regulations. So for Mitt Romney Obama can't create the current economic atmosphere where jobs are being created AND things like domestic energy production are increasing, he can only take credit for anything bad that happens in the economy. Unemployment down to 7.8 % under Obama, not good enough. Romney says he would have gotten it lower. Got that, the current president can only be a negative influence on the economy, even though the economy has improved over 4 years. More important while he says Obama can't talk about job creation that actually occurred during his presidency, Mitt can talk about all the fantastical job creation that would happen under his mythical one. Do you understand that? because I don't.

More to the point Mitt's a supposed to by a private sector JOB CREATOR. Just ask him. Holy crap man in a world of regulations and taxes, according to Mitt, we need all the great job creators we can get out there in the private sector making new jobs. Yet somehow Romney isn't creating any jobs right now. He's too busy trying to take Obama's job to bother job creating. He tells us Obama has made it too hard for him to make jobs. But wait how come other job creator are currently creating jobs under Obama's presidency? I mean since Obama's election despite Romney's claims people, not named Mitt Romney, have been able to create private sector jobs. It's over 40 months straight of people not named Mitt Romney creating jobs, damn you Obama! Why are some job creators not so hurt by Obama's magic negative mojo? It appears that corporation are having RECORD PROFITS. It seems to be only Mitt Romney, the guy that makes as much a day as you do all year, that is not able to create private sector jobs under Obama. I don't see all these other job creators telling me they need to be president before they go out and create a job. I'm going out on a limb here and saying Romney appears to kind of suck at being a job creator next to all his other actual good job creators current actually creating jobs. No wonder he wants a public sector job.

What about medicare and social security? He claims they would be better if we let the private sector handle those things. Well Mitt here's a news flash, the public sector is legally allowed now to handle those things. If Mitt Romney sees tons of $$ to be made selling old and sick people health insurance and selling the injured and old pensions... why isn't he out there now beating the government and selling this stuff? No Mitt can only do it after he destroys the competition of social security and medicare. Mitt claims these programs can't compete with his mythical private sector competition, but note he hasn't even tried. Why, he is a job creator and he's telling me there is a huge business opportunity here! But Mitt isn't jumping at the chance because Mitt once again apparently sucks as a job creator. Mitt can only create this magic "better" private sector medicare and social security after getting rid of the public one, even though there is absolutely nothing preventing him from setting up an insurance shop now.

It is the Romney Paradox. Apparently the private sector is GREAT, but only if you're in the public sector. The public sector can only be a negative influence on the private sector unless Mitt is in charge of it and although there is nothing preventing the incredible and better mythical private social security and medicare now, Mitt can't do it now until he gets rid of the public one. It is almost like private and public are BS words Mitt drops into conversations without them actually conveying any meaning.

I submit Romney's whole argument for why he should be president makes no * sense. If the public sector can't influence the private sector, why run for office? If the economy is growing and your a private sector guy, why are you wasting time trying to get in the public sector while the private sector booms? If medicare and social security are better off being private sector entities why aren't you busy setting up these entities? WTF having you been talking about for 6 years.
